Organic, Vegan & Climate Neutral
Derrick wines are made without the use of pesticides and additives.
A healthy and balanced soil yields a richer biodiversity that provides a richer breeding ground for
tastier
grapes. Resulting in better wines.
Yes, vegan is booming. But that’s not why our wines are vegan.
We work together with nature as much as possible so we use vegetal material: pea or potato protein to filter our wines.
We calculated that, even with our choice of a lighter glass bottle and natural cork, each bottle of Derrick wine
creates a carbon footprint of almost half a kilo. To compensate this, we are planting one tree in a natural park
in Valencia for every 173 bottles of Derrick produced.
Over 40 years this will not only offset the footprint
for each bottle, but will take an extra half kilo of carbon from the atmosphere as well.

Our Story Bodegas Neleman
Using indigenous varieties and blends of Macabeo, Tempranillo, and Garnacha
grapes, which
hark
back to Spanish
wine’s origins, the mature vineyards of Bodegas Neleman are in the hills to the East of Valencia at Casas
del
Rey. They are on small land terraces surrounded by olive and almond trees - and Parque Natural de las Hoces
del
Cabriel. The vines have been carefully planted to reap the best from the soil that give such foundation and
heart.
And makes its delicious taste: these are modern wines. Balance,
warmth, richness and freshness are paramount. Elegance is always the ambition. And passion. The most
sought-after quality of all.

Hints of passionfruit with a pineapple, beeswax, almonds vanilla and butter from the oak.
How do you feel?
Fresh, crispy and flavorful with an attractive minerality and buttery creaminess.

Deep, bright, vibrant and pale pink colour.
Can you smell it?
Long fruit notes on the nose, raspberries and ripe cherries, strawberries and red-currants and rose petals.
How do you feel?
Fresh, subtle and lively palate with hints of cherry and strawberry. Seductive, round and balanced with a long fruit finish.

My good fellows! Salads, pasta and rice dishes, vegetables, stuffed sausage and cold meats, white meats, fish and shellfish.
Derrick Tempranillo

Deep cherry red color with violet hues.
Can you smell it?
Cherry, plum, mature tomato, and dried fig with a background of vanilla, leather and tobacco.
How do you feel?
Medium full-bodied wine with nice and round tannins. Good entrance and lush in mouth with a long and smooth finish.

Medium-deep garnet color with bright red edge.

Intense and elegant red berry fruit character, with tobacco and herbs notes.
How do you feel?
Rich and fruity with well balanced freshness. Elegant, with unique varietal characteristics and long aftertaste.

Derrick Cava Brut

Straw yellow colour, with elegant and persistent bubbles.

Clean and fruity aroma with prominent citrus character and an undertone of floral notes.
How do you feel?
The full bodied Chardonnay combined with the gentle Macabeo offers a magnificent presence on the palate, dry but at the same time fruity, and a lingering aftertaste with very well balanced carbonic gas.
